Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Armat Health and Wellness LLC ("Armat", "we", "us"), a California limited liability company. They cover the Armat app on iPhone and Android, the website at armatfit.com, and any Armat subscription you buy. By creating an account or buying a subscription, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Armat.

1. What Armat is

Armat is an app for tracking daily habits, food, water and weight. It records what you enter and shows you figures worked out from it, such as calorie and macro totals, streaks and a daily score.

2. Armat is not medical advice

Armat is not a medical service or a medical device. Nothing in it diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition. Calorie targets, BMI, macro splits, recipe scores, meal plans and every other figure it shows are general information, not advice about your health.

If you use the Support tab to record a medication schedule, supplements or a daily check-in, Armat stores what you type and reminds you at the times you choose. It never suggests, checks or changes a medication, a dose or an amount. Always follow the directions of your doctor or pharmacist, and talk to a licensed professional before changing your diet, activity or medication.

If you think you have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

3. Who can use Armat

You must be at least 18 years old. Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password private, and tell us at support@armatfit.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Subscriptions

Armat has a free plan and paid plans, Armat Plus and Armat Pro. What each plan includes, its price, its billing period and any free trial are shown before you buy. We may change what the plans include over time. If we remove a paid feature you are paying for, we will tell you before it happens.

Automatic renewal. Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly or yearly) at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel.

Free trials. If your plan starts with a free trial, you are not charged during the trial. When the trial ends, your subscription begins and you are charged the plan's price unless you cancel before the trial ends. A free trial is available once per person.

Bought in the app. Purchases made in the app are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), and their terms also apply. To cancel, use your App Store or Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. We cannot cancel these subscriptions for you. Refunds for these purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Bought on our website. Purchases made at armatfit.com (available in the United States) are processed for us by our payment providers, RevenueCat and Stripe. You can cancel online at any time with the link in your purchase confirmation email, or email support@armatfit.com and we will cancel it for you. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds for website purchases. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current period. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, email support@armatfit.com and we will look into it.

Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your first billing period after that notice. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before then.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first: in your App Store or Google Play settings, or with the link in your email for website purchases.

5. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence: reading a meal photo, building a recipe, importing a recipe and planning meals. Their results are estimates and can be wrong, including calorie and nutrition figures and ingredient lists. Check anything that matters to you. Never rely on Armat to keep you safe from a food allergy or intolerance. Read the ingredients yourself. Paid plans include an allowance for these features, measured over a rolling 30 days, and they may pause for a while once it is used up.

6. Food and nutrition information

Food and nutrition figures come from public databases (such as USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts), from recipe websites and from estimates. They can be incomplete or wrong, and you should check anything that matters.

7. Your content

What you log in Armat (habits, foods, weights, notes and everything else) is yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run Armat for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models. Our Privacy Policy at armatfit.com/privacy explains how we handle your data.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not use Armat to break the law; try to get into other people's accounts or data; interfere with, overload or attack the service; copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it; access it by automated means; or upload anything unlawful or harmful. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

9. Our app and brand

Armat, its name, design, artwork, text and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for yourself while you follow these terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

10. Services we rely on

Armat uses services run by other companies, including Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat, Stripe, Anthropic, USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts. Their own terms apply to what they provide, and we are not responsible for their services.

11. Deleting your account and ending these terms

You can stop using Armat at any time and delete your account in Settings, Delete account. Deleting your account permanently deletes your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Armat. If we stop offering a paid plan you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of your current period for website purchases, or tell you how to ask Apple or Google for a refund.

12. Disclaimers

Armat is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or accurate, or that it will help you reach any goal, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Armat and its owners, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Armat. Our total liability for any claim relating to Armat is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Armat in the 12 months before the claim and $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

14. If you cause a claim against us

If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, please email support@armatfit.com so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute will be decided by the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.

16. Apple App Store

If you downloaded Armat from the Apple App Store:

  • These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.

  • Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules.

  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

  • If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.

  • Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection or privacy claims.

  • If anyone claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and dealing with the claim.

  • You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Armat after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using Armat and cancel any subscription.

18. The rest

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Armat. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Armat; you may not transfer them without our written agreement.
